The Street Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the city streets. This includes patching potholes, street sweeping and grass mowing along streets and sidewalks. The Street Department provides mosquito spraying for our citizens during the summer months. It also maintains the grounds within the Blakely City Cemetery.

To report a pothole, road obstruction or excessive litter within the city limits, call City Hall at 229-723-3677, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. After hours, call the Fire Department at 229-723-5150.
